caution to the wind

the weather was in the high 60s today and i could hardly contain my glee! the weatherman said to be on the lookout for thunderstorms and tornadoes, but we threw caution to the wind(literally) and played outside. the winds whipped around our faces and the clouds swirled up above, but we were fearless! actually, i was a little afraid of the swingset falling down while i was climbing on the monkey bars, but i certainly wasn't afraid of any ol' tornado.

uncle mark modeling the argyle socks with workout attire trend that is so hot right now.

since we are on the subject of tornadoes and all things midwestern, i will address something that has been on my mind. many of you think we live in kansas. we don't. we live in kansas city, missouri. not kansas. missouri. not kansas. spread the word. tell your friends. note mark's sweatshirt:
somewhere under the guitar is says missouri.

OK, I love the pictures and comments you put about them. And I just re-looked at those funny pictures you posted when the whole family was together last weekend for Mark's homecoming...OK, those made me laugh out loud! LOVE the Beck family!

I would never dream of insulting you by thinking you lived in Kansas.

PS-Does Mark still play the trumpet? For whatever reason I have a vivid memory of him at your Grandma's showing us how to play the trumpet in the marching band.

Is it annoying when the same person keeps leaving comments?

How FUN!!! I remember there was a tornado siren going in Tuscaloosa, evidently one had been spotted IN Tuscaloosa, and I believe it was Mark Forrester, another chick who was interning at the office and I instead of going down to the basement of DCH hospital where we were working went out on top of the parking deck and looked to see if we could see the tornado. :)

Wow...I know I shouldn't but I still picture Mark as a 14 year-old, not a return missionary. I still do the same to Kortney and she is getting married in few months. Anyway, I actually miss the crazy Mo. weather. Oh ya, my mom told me that you went and hung out with Kelsey the other day. Thanks for doing that...it means a lot to my mom and myself since I live so far away to help out! You are a gem!
