only 360 more payments and she is all ours!

after much searching we have found our tara. the fact that it does resemble a southern farmhouse is purely coincidental. i promise. i think it must be God's way of helping ease thomas into life in the heartland. we have moved in and we are digging through the mess in hopes of finding some sanity. it must be packed in here somewhere.

a few things i really like about the house:

built in shelves in the master closet. if thomas is real good, i'll let him use them too.

a southern front porch. the tacky screen door is just about to be ripped off its hinges. that wasn't a selling point for me.
it was really sunny in this picture. that smirk on my face means i like it.

dancing a jig in front of the house.

the fireplace
the sweetest little face in the world.

as soon as it was ours, the first thing i did was rip off the lace that was glue gunned to the cabinets. no gracias mi amigas!

the previous owners left us some celebration champagne. now we are really high rollers.

thomas just wasn't in a dancing mood like i was.

Wow! Great house. It's houses like that, that make me want to move back to the "heart land". East coast houses are sooo small and over priced (boo who!). Gorgeous!

yay!!! how fun to finally have your own personal tara. it looks like an awewome house. and i cannot even believe the "lace" on those shelves. in my many hours of house-hunting online over the last few months, i'm amazed at the level of tackiness that some home decorators achieve. it is truly amazing.

that baby scarlett is a doll and a half! you just want to squeeze her and kiss those sweet little cheeks.

hey are you up for a mini-reunion in nashville at some point this summer?

Zack wonders, "Am I allowed to make fun of people yet?"

The only thing that's certain is that the baby is definitely the cutest. We had a chance to bond while Heather was sleeping... which happens a lot.

Has anyone seen my shovel?

WOW!...that's all I can say. That is just incredible. I would be dancing a jig out in front of it as well.

So...what are you going to do with the booze? :)

Congrats on the new house!

Wow! The house is absolutely amazing and beautiful! Congrats! I just have one question-- are you going to leave it blue? I know that's your favorite color.

That was so generous of the sellers to leave you guys champagne ;-)
