i am thankful for people who are brave enough to go out of their comfort zone and share the gospel. big T is a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of 12 years this past august. the people who shared the gospel message with him are dearer to my heart than they will ever know. they opened their mouths by inviting him to church the first time. they opened their homes each time thomas had questions that needed to be answered. they opened their hearts by sharing the love our Savior Jesus Christ has for each one of us with him. i am forever grateful and indebted to them. i would venture to say that they did not know what would become of big T, that they were just doing their duty as Latter-day Saints. but i have been a beneficiary of their faithfulness and their boldness. they are a force for good and my life has been impacted and changed for the better because of them.

i am sure that it wasn't an easy task. big T talks a lot and he likes to be right all the time. and now he is.

Well, then it's safe to say that Big T. impacted my life too!! What would have I done if I had never met my fashionista in LA {lower alabama). Kudos to you big T and the lovely ladies that opened their mouths!!!

I too am thankful for people like that. My mom's a convert. Wish I was more outgoing that way.
I too want to hear the whole story, the conversion the finding of the eternal companion, you know all that fun stuff!

That was such a nice thing to say. Thank you. It was a little awkward to invite him to church. I remember being nervous - the first Sunday was a little strange. The speakers weren't even really there. There was a recording of their talk that they played at the pulpit -- weird! I wanted to shrink and run away. But it was such an amazing thing to see the Spirit work. I still feel like I didn't do much. I'm so proud of him and what he's done with life (I will forever remember his "other" name - big A). He is such a strong person... that he could make those choices in the south, especially at that age. That's a pretty bold statement. And he didn't stop there- went on a mission and got married in the temple..and is still active. That's amazing! I'm glad he found you. I remember when you got married in Utah. I'm so honored that I could have been there. He is an incredibly strong person and great example. Thanks again for your kind words. Love,

I almost always forget that Thomas is a convert. (That's supposed to be a compliment). And yes! I say you spell out the whole story so I can have a fun time reminescing (sp?).
Did I ever tell you that one time before you guys started dating and before he asked you to Homecoming, I had gone over to his and Scott's apartment for some reason and Thomas was there and was all about asking me questions about you and how pretty he thought you were and how did I think you'd want to go to Homecoming with him? Ha,ha,ha - I'm totally laughing right now remembering that.
